The personal data collected through BookMint is processed by the owner indicated in the application. To exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion or portability, contact us through the indicated channels.
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you provide when registering: email, name, password (encrypted). If you use Google authentication, we receive your email and profile name. We also store the content you create (books, manuscripts) to provide the Service.
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) manage your account and subscription; (c) process payments through Lemon Squeezy; (d) send service communications if you enable them; (e) comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
The processing is based on contract execution (provision of the Service), your consent (where applicable) and legitimate interest in improving the Service and preventing fraud.
5. Data sharing
We share data with: (a) Supabase (hosting and database); (b) Lemon Squeezy (payments); (c) OpenRouter (if you use AI features); (d) Google (if you log in with Google). These providers act as data processors and are subject to confidentiality agreements.
6. Data retention
We retain your data while you maintain an active account. After deletion, we may retain certain data for the legally required period for accounting, legal or claims purposes.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete or limit the processing of your data, to data portability and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us. If you consider that the processing violates regulations, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority.
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Passwords are stored encrypted. Communications are conducted using encryption (HTTPS).
